Amongthecharacters,whichimpressedmemostarenotPipandEstellawhoshouldberegardedastheleadingroles,butJoeandMagwitch.IfeelawfullysorrythatIwasnotbraveenoughtoreadtheoriginaleditionthatisasthickasabrick.Otherwise,ImayappreciateJoeandMagwitchmore.Yes,theyarenotthemaincharactersinthenovel.However,whattheysaidandwhattheydiddeeplytouchedme.It’sinteresting,isn’tit?Theyarequitetheoppositeguys.Oneisatotallygoodmanwithouttheleastbitofwickednesswhiletheotherisaprisonerwhoisbelievedtohavecommittedeveryevil.
